We are bringing the magic of movies back to Saltash!
Our ground floor events space transforms into a cosy and intimate cinema, complete with:
- UHD 4K projection
- 150″ screen.
- Dolby Surround Sound.
- 65 comfortable chairs.
- Licensed bar with locally produced drinks and snacks.
Join us for an exciting programme of blockbusters, arts films, documentaries, Cornish films and more.
We are fundraising to make our cinema even better!
Funding will support the upgrade of the basic projector in our fledgling 65-seat cinema, to a Digital Cinema Initiative Compliant projector and server, which is the international cinema industry standard. This ambitious project will create a lasting asset for the community and will enable us to:
- Ensure film security to enable screening of first-run films and live broadcasts which is impossible with our current technology.
- Diversify our programme and audience through screening matinees, family films, live stage shows, plus more environmental, heritage and Cornish films.
- Increase ticket income to help ensure the Studios’ long term financial sustainability.

The location
You’ll find Saltash Studios on Saltash Fore Street, surrounded by the amenities of the vibrant town centre – with excellent transport links by road and rail.
From Saltash Studios’ location on Fore Street, you have a wide range of shops and services right on the doorstep. There’s a supermarket, plenty of places to get lunch (including Cornish pasties, naturally!), a Post Office, a banking hub and pharmacies – plus many more businesses.
The town centre is well-connected, with easy access to Plymouth, Devon, and Cornwall via the A38 and regular bus services. Saltash train station is also just a 10-minute walk away and offers direct routes to London, Plymouth, Exeter, plus west into Truro, Newquay and Penzance.
