“The idea for Saltash Studios started when I was looking flexible, affordable workspace. I needed fast Wi-Fi, meeting rooms and space to take a break. Plus plants, good tea and a central location in Saltash.

When I realised that no such space existed, I decided to create it myself and invite everyone to share it.

Since opening in 2025, Saltash Studios has welcomed professionals from engineers to therapists, artists to architects. The Studios offers a calm environment where you can focus on work, alongside other professionals and away from the distractions of home. Enjoy all the perks of the Studios for 4 hours, any time from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday-Friday for £8. Add an extra hour to your booking for £2.

Day-cation Desk: £12

Book a desk for a full day, from 9am–5.30pm, Monday–Friday, as and when you need it for just £12.

Buy 5 half days in advance: £32 (£6.40 per session).
Buy 5 full days in advance: £50 (£10 per day).

What is a coworking space?

A coworking space is a shared workspace that provides a flexible, affordable environment for focussed working, networking, learning and enterprise. We offer a range of resources including desks, meeting rooms, superfast internet, printing, refreshments and office services.

    Do I have to be a member to work at Saltash Studios?

    No – we used to have a membership system with reduced prices for members. We have now simplified this and bookings are the same price for all.

    Can I visit and have a tour of the facilities?

    Yes – please email info@saltashstudios.org to arrange a date and time.

    Can I try out the space for free?

    Yes – email info@saltashstudios.org to arrange a FREE trial day (or a week for resident space).

    Can I bring guests into the coworking space?

    Residents with permanent desk spaces may invite up to 2 guests to the Studios for meetings  in the kitchen/breakout room. The meeting room is available to hire from £10ph for larger or longer meetings.

    Hot desk users may not bring non-member guests to work/meet in the building unless they have booked an additional desk or the meeting room.

    When can I access the Studios?

    Permanent desk members have 24/7 access.
    Hot desk users can access the building Mon-Fri, 9-5.30pm.

    Is there parking available?

    We have three free parking spaces at the back of the Studios for pick-ups and drop-offs.

    There is also parking available within 5mins walk at Culver Road Car Park and Alexander Square Car Park. Free parking is available on nearby streets.

    Can I bring a dog with me?

    Yes – we welcome furry colleagues as long as they are clean, quiet and kept at the owner’s desk or on a leash. Please bring cleaning bedding and water.

    Do I need to sign a long term contract?

    No – our hot desks can be booked online as and when you need them.

    Our permanent desks are for a minimum of 3 months, followed by 1 month rolling use.

    Can I register a business address at the Studios?

    Yes – for £15 a month you can register your business address and get a locker for post. Email info@saltashstudios.org to arrange this.

    Permanent desk holders can register their business address at no additional cost.

    Do you have any storage?

    Yes – our building is a former bank and we have a large, dry, basement vault. Lockers are available at £5pm and large storage cages are available at £20pm. Email info@saltashstudios.org to arrange this.

    Can I get lunch/coffee near the Studios?

    Yes – we are right in the centre of Saltash on a busy high street and there are a range of great cafes nearby. We are also only 5 mins walk from the Tamar River which is a lovely spot for lunch.

    Are there networking opportunities available?

    We have a friendly kitchen/breakout space which is a great place to meet other members.
    Members can also include their details on our members’ directory and on our members display wall.

    Can I take phone calls in the space?

    Yes – short, quiet calls are fine in our co-work areas. Longer or noisier calls can be taken in our kitchen/break out space, or meeting room. We invite you to make use of the whole building when you are here.

    Is the space accessible?

    Our ground floor has step-free access throughout. We unfortunately do not have a wheelchair accessible toilet – we hope to install this in the future.
